    What is a good mining motherboard for the 1660 super? i have 4 of them puppies and would like to try my hands on mining.
    I will also need a cpu, poower supply that can handle maybe at least 6 1660s and risers too and the open air rig as well. A newbie miner here just like to have some knowledge on crypto mining.

    I would like to try it on windows 10 first using phoenix miner or nice hash before i go to hive os.

    Any tips from you will be greatly appreciated.

  5. I am a Canadian who has access to a 42,000 square foot data center that has lots of rack space. We currently have 8 racks with Ethereum rigs, what if you could mine from a Canadian where the USD to CAD dollar averages $1.30 so kilowatt hours are 30 per cent cheaper.

  10. Currently I was mining on nicehash. Watched your videos and started to mine ether with lolminer on ethermine.org. I just noticed that my hashrate is way lower on ethash than on dagerhashimoto (40.1mh/s vs 34 mh/s) . When I mine ether on my own I make less money compared to nicehash. Would you guys still suggest mining ether instead of renting my hardware to nicehash? Pretty new to the whole topic. Energy costs in germany are very high so ever bit of profit matters… thx

  27. Unless the July MEV is different to what I’m seeing now then we’re royally screwed when the extra reward is burned. The 2-3 ETH rewards we are seeing in almost every block will be replaced with fractional amounts. I think the biggest MEV value I’ve seen so far is 0.5 ETH.
    Oh well it’s been an interesting ride. Let’s see how the rest of this journey goes.

  31. For the last 3 weeks I've been mining with 9 cards at 540 MH and I used to mine 0.1 ETH in less than 4 days. Couple days ago I added a tenth card bringing my rig total to 600 MH however my estimated earnings have dropped to such that it will now take me 4.5 days to mine 0.1 ETH despite having more hashing power. I don't think that the additional card has effected anything so I have to ask why is it suddenly taking me longer to mine the same amount of ETH despite having more hashing power? I have to say this is really frustrating and demoralizing to add a card and have my estimated earnings go down.

    I'm mining to Ethermine using HiveOS and T-Rex miner.

I think everyone crazy person out there who is buying a 3080 for 2k plus, should spend 150 dollars on a solar panel, or it should be a requirement, like you can buy 150-200 watt panels for dirt cheap, and if your willing to pay that much for a graphics card, why not eliminate the power bill, and help the environment. Im currently building out my first stand alone crypto "farm", basically a shed but it will be south facing and I live in a very sunny part of the US year round, Im going to add solar panels to that thing while there is still huge government discounts and refunds on solar gear… just food for thought

  36. Totally new into crypto mining and I can't wait to understand it all. Don't know shit about computers, but I love Bitcoin. My brother had a box of old computer parts, spent the last 3 days researching and putting it together. Finally got it to boot to mobo bios. Learned a lot so far.

    All these videos are great. I love it.

  39. Not sure about anyone else here but my expected daily profits on HiveOS dropped by almost 50% 3 days ago, overnight? I'm mining at the same hashrate, I even added an additional card… why would this happen do you think? obviously its based on transactions but I cant see ETH transactions slowing that much. I'm on Hiveon pool… anyone else notice anything?

  45. The way I view it is that I’m mining for 10 years down the road. Even in a bear market, if mining rig just breaks even, I’ll still be making revenue from the future. Tortoise and the hare.

  46. Been using nanominer. Right after the last 4 payouts I've been going a period of time where I can't maintain uptime longer than about 2hrs. When I can maintain uptime it can go for a week and remain up till the next payout where it seems to repeat again. Don't have clue whats going on.

  48. hello everyone, I have the following problem: When mining, my 3080 draws a maximum of 198 watts of electricity, regardless of the power limit I set. But when I start the FurMark, the card draws its full wattage. I don't get more like 76 mhs as a result. The card ran for a week with 95 mhs. This problem has only been around since today. I hope someone can help me thank you
