I Turned Off HALF of My Crypto Mining Farm ?

Need Air Flow For Your GPU Ethereum Mining Rigs? I’m adding THIS Exhaust Fan: Want to DUAL Mine Ethereum …

  1. one of your problems is that you are keeping most of the heat in the basement ambient air. If you can put everything beside wall, put some cap/hood over them and then suck that warm air directly out. Then, since you have the luck to open the windows on the north or east side which is cooler since it should be in the shade, you would have much cooler ambient temp since most of the energy wouldn't dissipate into the basement, but would be sucked directly out. basically like the mining tents you had shown before… of course, if you re having exhaust fans, you need some opening for the cool air, preferably on the lower point and exhaust hole should be on the tallest possible point, that way, natural pressure differences are also helping for the airflow, it should draw warm air out and let the cooler air inside even without fans working. and in the barn it would be fantastic if you could make some kind of chimney which would be highest point, and then to draw the air with most energy outside, while still having some opening on the lowest and coolest possible point

  2. No Offense , i see at least 3-5 GHS worth of Ethereum ur mining alone beside BTC. Why would you not put in AC is beyond me as that's the most effective way to maintain room temperature and its a One time cost .

  3. Only way to drop temp inside is to install window AC units but even with those they can only drop the inside temp around 20 degrees to what ever it is outside. So if it’s 100 best it can do is maybe 85?

  4. Don't try to beat mother nature. Use mother nature. You put that farm in your basement for good reason. We use earth tubes to pull in 40-45° ground temperatures for off grid cabins. I don't know your housing situation and what you can or can't do because this is the first video of yours I've watched but if you can use the ground to cool air then the ambient temperature will not matter.

  5. its not as hot here in the uk. all our 30 rigs run phoenix in windows and we use -ttli 70 in the config.txt they gently start to throttle at 70 degrees then speedup again in the coool of the night. we have had no fried gpus at all. the windows we use is ghost spectre – no updates, bloat or telemetry. i have nothing to do. its all working fine. kerching . no really nothing to do. best wishes. yes i know trm is better and yes we do use it but -ttli – is the killer function . trm has a hard stop function. phoenix is better in heat

  6. you can put earthen pots filled with water outside the air input windows. the air surrounding the pots are literally 20 to 30 Celsius cooler.

  7. A quick solution for you man, put a window ac in, it circulates the air, hot air in, cold air out into the room. Yes it's extra power and cost, but less than turning your rigs off.

  8. It was 117 here. Luckily I have good AC so it was no issue for my grow or my mining. Even a smell window unit would help your situation greatly if you can afford the power draw on your circuit. Fans just push air, if that air is hot they just push hot air. Setting a fan like that in the window isn't doing a whole lot because those fans aren't designed to do that. Once they are under pressure their CFM drops a lot. You need centrifugal HVAC fans if you really want to move some air. But even having a good exhaust is going to cause negative pressure in the room which will pull hot air from outside through every crack in every window and door defeating the purpose. AC really is the answer.

  9. How do you get the Gainward Chasing Wind series GPUs? The Gainward support replies that belong to Gainward China. That's amazing you have a lot of on them.

  10. You don't need to turn off machines, why don't you control temperature by reducing hashrate automatically like this option on PhoenixMiner "-ttli"

  11. Wooow! That is really HOT! I have heard on the news that's very hot in Canada right now, you just confirmed it! 🙂 I had a couple of warm days a couple of weeks ago, but it was like 32C, nowhere near your heat! I had to turn of all of my mining rigs still.

  12. Lol.. only 40c outside whereas in Australia, in Summer it's 40c everyday and none of my cards get over 65c without AC. All my rigs are in my living room too ?

  13. Dude add a mini split 3 ton will only use 14 amps at 240 vac is 3360 watts that will give you 36000 btus of cooling and remove 10.5 kw of heat. Youll save your cards and still make some cash. It will cost less than 1 12 gpu rig. mini splits are much more efficient than than standard central ac and there are some rebates avaliable

  14. very good video, congratulations, i have a rig of 8 MSI MEch OC cards, they work fine but lately i get erro of gpu dead, i have the core in 1350, vdd 750, vddci 750 and mem 900, i use the teamred miner miner, i have two 1000 watt power supply, stop mininf the rig, or sometimes it inhibits, hopefully you can help me, thanks

  15. When mining at over 104F you really need a single 10k BTU AC window unit for like $600 and then blend it to cool the air charge passing through the room. It has to have a directed exit point and you force the flow through the room. It doesn't get things happy and cool but will keep the gear from breaking DAGs on reboot. The AC can always auto shut off at night when you get back below 70F. Also as others have mentioned, you kinda want everything running about a foot off the floor so you optimize the coldest air available while moving the rising heat away. On the floor is not great unless it was a clean room and clean rooms don't have great airflow so the floor is automatically out.

  16. Why just not buy about 5 portable aircon units and a dehumidifier. Would probs only cost about a day of mining for you? And then you can keep everything going.

  17. Be super careful with the hot temperatures. I've found that the ATX cable plastic melted on my miner and it shorted and sparked… I need to repair a hash board now…

  18. Hello mining community i whanted to ask, who nows how to make my mining rig work when it shows that the hashrate is low and there is sleeping signs near the worker?
